My introduction to CAD was during my first semester of the Precision Machining major at Front Range Community College. I took an introductory SolidWorks class in the fall of 2024, and two weeks later I put in a request to change my major. Since then I've found myself becoming more enveloped in the world of design, and the creative potential that it brings. The best way I've been able to put it is,"I love to build, I love to create, I've always had ideas for projects or random things that I could never make in a physical medium for one reason or another. Using CAD software, it removes the need for physical materials which opens possibilities and opportunities
that I wouldn't had otherwise."
